DOING WHAT I LOVE WITH THE PEOPLE I LOVE

Carole Petit, the soul of DIEGA, grew up in the company of a tailor father, trained in the art of made-to-measure and
exceptional know-how.
From her childhood dreams to the family workshop, she acquired expertise and developed a taste for
noble materials, perfect cuts, precise gestures and meticulous detail. The unique heritage of a
generation of craftsmen, lulled by childhood memories of the sound of scissors slicing through fabric and
chalk tracing the future lines of the garment.

In 2001, Carole Petit, then product manager for Golfer Green, a men's ready-to-wear brand, decided
to create her own line of women's shirts, inspired by those she'd nicked from her father's wardrobe
. This was the birth of DIEGA, the feminine name of a Michel Berger song, and of a brand that
embodies her personality, her identity, her future inspirations and her clothing lines.

'dun wearing a few shirts has given birth to a women's wardrobe that revives the demanding art of tailoring, whose memory she
interrogates and retranscribes. A warm, protective world where she regenerates and feels
invincible. Like the roots of a tree, she probes materials, explores territories and weaves collections
imbued with her oriental and Mediterranean culture.
Each piece is a tribute to this heritage, which she appropriates and revisits to create elegant
and free clothing, tinged with poetic evocations.
