TAILORING EXPERTISE

In my father's workshop, time was measured in gestures.
Reliable gestures, handed down from hand to hand, from father to daughter, to the sound of scissors cutting beneath the fabric and chalk tracing the future lines of the garment.

That's where it all began.

It's where I learned to look, feel and listen to materials.
When I created DIEGA, I didn't start a brand. I extended a heritage. I added my voice, that of a woman who wanted to reinvent women's wardrobes from men's pieces.

A language.
Giving, translating, transmitting.
A gift from the men's to the women's wardrobe made with accuracy, tenderness and audacity.

Tailoring is not a trend, it's a living memory.
A way of honoring the gestures of the past to better dress the women of today.

Tradition reinterpreted

The suit, once armor, becomes a talisman. Carole Petit reinvents its codes, transposing the masculine imprint to the feminine wardrobe.

The materials

Corduroy, crêpe de Chine, dry wool, enveloping knitwear, each fabric has its own demands: the right touch, the right fall. Quality can't be seen, it can be felt.

The cuts

The tailor as anchor. Destructured shoulders, supple interlinings: the garment holds, traces, asserts.

Tennis stripes

The tennis stripe echoes the tailoring of yesteryear. A nod to the men's wardrobe that Carole Petit transposes to the feminine with aplomb.

Women's suit: free-spirited elegance at the heart of your wardrobe

I grew up in a world of fabrics, measurements and carefully buttoned jackets. My father and uncles were tailors. Discreet, passionate craftsmen who passed on to me much more than know-how: a vision of clothing, style and women.

With DIEGA, I wanted to reinvent the women's suit as a living piece. A comfortable, elegant ensemble designed to suit every occasion, every body type, every moment in life. A women's suit that doesn't confine you, but accompanies you - with allure and naturalness.

A suit, a thousand ways to wear it

The suit, long perceived as rigid, has evolved. Today, it can be worn with freedom, according to your style, your desires and, above all, your personality.

I always advise you to imagine it as a game of cuts, shades, materials and pieces to mix and match: a structured jacket , flowing cigarette pants, a light shirt or a simple t-shirt.

What counts is comfort, the fall of the fabric, and what your outfit says about you.

Which items to choose for different occasions?

For work :

A black or charcoal gray women's suit is a sure bet. Pair it with a cotton shirt, double-breasted or single-breasted jacket and well-fitting tailored pants. Add a few discreet accessories, and you're ready for a day without false notes.

For one evening :

The tuxedo suit is a chic answer to the classic dress. I like to play with nuances: powder pink, midnight blue, or even camel. The blazer becomes more sensual, the collar can be satiny, and the fastening subtle. A silk top or well-cut bodysuit is all you need to reveal your full allure.

For the weekend:

There's nothing like an oversized blazer and flowing linen or cotton pants. Wear them with sneakers, a light sweater or a white tee - it's the perfect look for brunch or a stroll, without compromising onelegance.

The right choice for your body shape

  • A-line silhouette: opt for a shouldered jacket for balance.
  • H-shaped silhouette: choose cuts fitted at the waist, play with volume.
  • X shape: anything goes, but a slim-fitting jacket will enhance your silhouette.

Every woman is unique: your outfit should adapt to you, never the other way around.

A modular wardrobe with no constraints

A well-chosen women's suit can take you from morning to night, from work to a party, to lunch with friends. With a few accessories, a variation in pattern or a simple change of color, you can transform your look inthe blink of an eye.

Care tips to preserve quality

At DIEGA, we choose natural materials for their feel, wearability and quality. To extend the life of your clothes:

  • Prefer dry cleaning.
  • Hang your jackets on hangers to maintain their shape.
  • Use a steam iron to smooth creases without damaging the fabric.
